Michael McCool joined Cary Street Partners in August of 2009 and serves as a Financial Advisor in the Abingdon, Virginia office. He brings to Cary Street Partners 5 years of investment experience. Mike began his career in 2004 as an Investment Advisor at Highlands Union Bank in Abingdon where he obtained his NASD Series 6,7,63, and 65 licenses as well as his Life/Health insurance license. In 2007 Mike joined Chris Walters in his Abingdon based wealth management practice at Banc of America Investment Services. Together, Mike and Chris manage over $200 million in assets for individuals, family trusts, and institutions. Mike is a 2003 graduate of The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentration in Finance. He also played on the Tribe golf team. Mike has been active in the community since moving back into Southwest Virginia. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon. Mike currently resides in his hometown of Abingdon, Virginia. |
